QUALIA C. HENDRICKSON (SHE/HER/ELLA)
PROBATE & ESTATE PLANNING STAFF ATTORNEY
Qualia C. Hendrickson joined DCALF in October 2024. She came to DCALF with a passion for educating families on the importance of preparing estate planning documents, most especially Wills, to secure their family’s financial well-being. At DCALF, she represents clients in probate and estate planning matters.
Qualia is licensed in the District of Columbia, New York, and New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Dominican Bar Association. She graduated cum laude and a member of the Dean’s List from New York Law School (NYLS) in 2018. While in law school, she served as Vice President of the student organization named First-Generation Professionals, providing resources to students who were the first in their family to become attorneys. She also served as a student-attorney in NYLS’s Education Law Clinic where she represented NYC middle school and high school students in administrative and suspension hearings and conducted research on the school-to-prison pipeline.
Beginning her legal career as a criminal defense attorney in New York and New Jersey, Qualia transitioned into estate and probate work after realizing how crucial estate planning would be for her own extended family. Prior to DCALF, Qualia was a Taxation, Trusts, and Estates associate at a New Jersey firm, focusing on the appointment of executors and administrators, Medicaid applications and planning, supplemental needs trusts, and taxation.
Qualia also received Bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing and Economics from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington and earned a masters in Publishing from Pace University.
