LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Maria Hernandez Pinto joined DC Affordable Law Firm in June 2024. Prior to joining DCALF, Maria worked at several non-profit advocacy organizations at the intersection of immigration, gender-based discrimination, and labor. She comes to the firm with a passion for advocating on behalf of immigrant survivors of sexual violence.

Maria earned her B.A. at Pitzer College, where she studied Political Science and Foreign Languages. In 2024, she earned her graduate Paralegal Certificate at George Washington University. Maria is a Native Spanish speaker and fluent in both Spanish and English.
