Latiesha Poole joined DC Affordable Law Firm in August 2024. She received her bachelor's degree from Bridgewater College, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Latiesha recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. While in law school, Latiesha held positions with the Student Bar Association and the Black Law Students Association, where she represented her class and school while addressing any concerns they may have. She had the opportunity to serve as a student attorney for the Whistleblower Clinic, where she represented government and corporate employees who felt some form of abuse in the workplace. In addition, Latiesha served as a student attorney for the Housing Clinic, where she advocated for individuals who faced evictions in the District of Columbia. 

Prior to law school, Latiesha worked as a Collection Intake Clerk at Whiteford, Taylor, & Preston, LLP from 2018 to 2021. She has interned at the Prince William Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. She is now pursuing her L.L.M. in Advocacy at Georgetown University Law Center.
