BECCA EBERT
(SHE/HER/HERS)

DCALF FELLOW

Becca Ebert joined DC Affordable Law Firm in August 2024. Becca graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in Spring 2024. She also received a Master's in Security Studies from Georgetown University concentrating in conflict and terrorism. Becca attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Politics.

Before law school, Becca worked as a paralegal at a family law practice in Seattle, Washington. This work demonstrated the law's vital role in advocating for people during incredibly difficult, personal situations. This work also illuminated the high cost of legal representation, which reinforced her passion for improving access to justice.

While in law school, Becca sought opportunities to represent marginalized communities. She worked with local DC residents to obtain emergency protection through Georgetown's Domestic Violence Clinic, she assisted in the defense of a death row inmate, and she interned on the defense team for a Guantanamo Bay detainee.
